Good afternoon Skating Families!

 

We are happy to announce that Registration is now open for the Fall/Winter '24/'25 session.  In addition to offering all of our traditional classes for Learn to Skate and Advanced Skaters, we are excited to be bringing several new offerings this year.  We had such great response and success with our combined clinic for B5 and above skaters this summer that we have decided to adopt the USFSA Aspire Program and incorporate elements of that program in several package choices for families interested in transitioning their skaters from LTS to our Advanced program.  All Aspire program offerings will include at least one LTS class (our traditional Learn to Skate lessons), along with a combined clinic.  We will also be offering an Aspire package that includes Advanced Ice where skaters can take private lessons and practice skating moves and freestyle elements required for USFSA testing.  The new Aspire program packages will also come with the opportunity for skaters to participate in additional group numbers for the Holiday Show, as well as additional group numbers, features and/or solo opportunities based on the Aspire/Advanced Skater package and skater level for Spring Show.  Most importantly, these new programs will provide flexibility for families, while providing a high level of engagement and  participation for our Aspiring skaters!

 

We hope to see you all at Open House tomorrow at Plattsburgh State Field House, starting at 3pm.  Open house will go until 5pm.  Skate rentals will be available and the ice is open to all skaters, friends and families.  Our Board members will be onsite to answer any questions families may have about our coming season and programs.  Additionally, we will have a banner at the skating table to "Unveil" this year's Spring Show Theme!!!!!  This show theme will be a first time show for our club and we are confident it will be a crowd favorite!  Come on out for an afternoon of fun on the ice, as we prepare for our official start of season Saturday, September 28th!
